CLARK, NJ — Under the guidance of National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) advisor Suzanne Hamilton, Carl H. Kumpf Middle School 8th graders Gigi Cannici, Lulu Cannici, and Ashley Scaduto recently teamed up to support local veterans and their pets.

For their NJHS service project, the girls created flyers and donation boxes, distributing them across local schools as well as the Clark Recreation Center.

The drive successfully collected much-needed pet supplies for Friends of Valley Brook and Vets’ Pets, an organization that provides food, essential supplies, and veterinary care for the pets and service animals of veterans living at Valley Brook Village.

The organization was thrilled to receive the donations and expressed deep gratitude for the girls' leadership and the community's overwhelming generosity.
